OUR HOME STAGING SERVICES… 

Home Staging – The initial step in getting your home staged is to set up a consultation with A Place at the Beach Home Staging.  Together, we will go through the home and look at it as a potential buyer or renter would.  Then, we decide what we can change to make the home more appealing to them.  We always start with the furniture and accessories are already in the home, emphasizing the positives and distracting from the negatives.  It’s amazing to see what a change of placement or function can make!  A consultation typically lasts sixty to ninety minutes.  If time permits, we will do a quick, 10-minute transformation in one room so that you can see the difference a few small changes can make to a room.  We will take before and after pictures so that you, your realtor, or property management company can have something to put on a website or in a rental brochure to market your property.  We will follow up with an action plan which includes a brief description of the work to be done.  For homes that just need minor changes or are less than 2,000 square feet, we offer a half-day staging.  For homes that required more extensive staging or are larger than 2,000 square feet, a full-day staging is available. In both cases, before and after pictures are provided for marketing your property. 

Vacant Home Staging – If you are building or purchasing a new home in the Outer Banks with the intent of using it as a vacation rental, A Place at the Beach Home Staging will completely set up the home for that purpose.  This service includes shopping for and purchasing furniture, window treatments, kitchen items, linens, electronics, and decorative accessories for the home, as well as the set-up and installation.  Everything your renters will need to make their stay pleasant.  Everything comfortably and beautifully staged to make your renters feel like your home is truly their home. 

Home Redesign – Maybe you are turning that vacation rental property into a beach house for your own personal use.  Maybe you are purchasing a property with the intent of retiring in the Outer Banks.  A Place at the Beach Home Staging can transform that home into a space that truly reflects your personality through our redesign services.  Redesign differs from home staging.  In home staging, we focus on making the property appealing to buyers and renters.  In redesign, the focus in on you, the homeowner, and what makes you feel comfortable in a space.  We incorporate the style and items you love to surround yourself with to make you feel at home in your place at the beach! 

Shopping Service – Sometimes a home needs a few extra items to spruce up existing décor so that the positives of the home are emphasized and the negatives are downplayed.  It may be advisable for the homeowner to invest in a few items that will complement that décor.  The nice thing about this is that these items belong to the homeowner and can go with you to your next home.  The homeowner, working together with A Place at the Beach Home Staging, will determine which items to purchase to get the most bang for your buck and set up a budget for the purchase of these items to invest in your home.  We will do the shopping for you and pass along to you any discounts available to us as an HSR Certified Home Stager!
